At Kent and Medway Dog Hydrotherapy we are dedicated to a comprehensive approach to caring for your dog. Whether your pet is recovering from orthopedic surgery, healing from an injury, dealing with osteoarthritis, or in need of weight loss, an individualized program can be designed to achieve the best individual results. Tracey Cook  and Malinois

Tracey Cook MIRVAP (ICH)  has worked with dogs and horses for over over 25 years. 

For 10 years she was a Police Dog Handler with and is a qualified Dangerous Dog expert.

Since 2010 she has also worked as part of the training team with dog training and behaviour company ABC for Dogs.

As a result of her experience of training and working with large and small animals she developed a passion for the recovery of injuries and the study of movement in the animals that she worked with.

Through her studies she learnt about the numerous benefits of Hydotherapy as a tool for the rehabilitation for numerous different types of injuries and conditions.

Tracey is a full member of IRVAP (Institute of Registered Veterinary and Animal Physiotherapists) .

Owing to her experience and quality of rehabilitation Tracey is also recognised by Pet Insurance Companies to accept Insurance referrals.



Tracey  has  completed Hydrotherapy qualifications in:
  •     Introduction to Hydrotherapy for small animals.
  •     Management of medical conditions in hydrotherapy for small animals.
  •     Management of common orthopaedic and neurological conditions in hydrotherapy for small animals.
  •     Administering hydrotherapy treatment to small animals.
  •     Assessing and checking an animals suitability for hydrotherapy treatment.
  •     Anatomy and physiology for small animal hydrotherapy.
  •     Advanced Canine Aquatic Treadmill Techniques
  •     Canine First Aid
  •     Certificate in Physical Therapy.
  •     Full member of IRVAP
Stevie animal Physio

Stevie Tucker MSc MNAVP MIRVAP (VP, ICH)


Stevie is a Veterinary Physiotherapist (MSc) and Hydrotherapist. She is registered with the National Association of Veterinary Physiotherapists and the Institute of Registered Veterinary and Animal Physiotherapists.


Stevie graduated from Writtle University College with a Masters degree in Veterinary Physiotherapy. During her time at Writtle she worked alongside veterinary physiotherapists and nurses to help manage a canine and equine physiotherapy clinic treating a variety of patients including the Essex Police Dog Unit and retired race horses.


Stevie is a full Member of the National Association of Veterinary Physiotherapists (NAVP) and The Institute of Registered Veterinary & Animal Physiotherapists (IRVAP)


Stevies qualifications also include:

-Level 3 Certificate in Small Animal Hydrotherapy

-Volunteer Marine Mammal Medic with British Divers Marine Life Rescue

-Stevie  has a keen interest in canine sports conditioning. her masters dissertation evaluated canine sporting harness design and fit

With their extensive backgrounds in Hydrotherapy, Dog Behaviour, Dog Training and Animal Physiotherapy Tracey and Stevie understand that every dog is unique both mentally and physically and this effects the way that injuries should be managed and repaired. Tracey and Stevie will customise a rehabilitation plan to fit you and your dogs needs exactly in order to maximise the sessions and aid your dog to recovery in a sympathetic and comprehensive way.
